Join our one-day scatter cushion course, where you’ll learn to make a 45x45cm cushion with custom detailing. We provide a feather-filled cushion pad, zips, piping, and optional fabrics. Bring your own sewing machine (with zipper/piping foot) or use one of ours, and bring 1m of fabric (plus optional contrast fabric). Class size is limited to 8, with tea, coffee, and cake provided—just bring your own lunch!

Full Description
A one-day course during which you will learn how to make a 45 x 45cm Scatter cushion with detailing of your choice. We will provide a feather-filled cushion pad, zips and piping cord if required. Students can bring their own sewing machine (and, most importantly, a zipper or piping foot!) or use one of ours. You will need 1m of your chosen fabric (and a second choice of fabric if you want to make contrasting piping) We also have some fabrics and trims available on the day to buy.
Learn about:
- Cutting and handling of fabrics
- Making up and joining piping (optional)
- Inserting a lapped zip
- Other trims and decorative features
- Use of the sewing machine
Maximum of 8 students in a class.
