The amazing Geene will be sharing her years of soft furnishing experience in a fun, friendly workshop. The course will run 9.30am-3.30pm

During this one day course you will learn:

– How to make lined and interlined curtains with a variety of headings. (pinch pleats, pencil, wave and flopover ruffle)
– You will practice and discuss pattern matching
– Hand sewing techniques
– How to measure and calculate fabric quantities.

You will take home the samples you will sew during the day and some written guides to help you make your own curtains at home.

Things to bring:
Sewing Machine (if you have one, otherwise you may hire one for the day, £15)
Pins
Needles
Thimble
Fabric cutting Scissors
Soft tape measure
Notepad and pencil

All other materials will be provided.
There will also be a constant supply of hot drinks and biscuits. Please bring your lunch with you as the nearest shop is a short drive away.
Parking is onsite outside the workshop.
