Swipe through to see Joanne’s upholstery journey and the transformation of her grandmother’s chair.“My upholstery journey started last September.With no experience or sewing skills, I ambitiously chose to do a complete traditional reupholster of my grandmother’s chair!Jade, Shirley and Claire were amazing and more importantly patient! Happy to show me a stitch technique five times, then again two minutes after walking away!The class was fun with lots of laughs, tea and biscuits.It’s not just your own project you become invested in but those of all your classmates, giving lots of ideas and inspiration.I will be back next term with a new project, a few upholstery skills now under my belt!”Thank you Joanne for sharing your journey with us.
